I've been growing veg small scale in the garden for years and have just taken on an allotment. Every year I seem to be late getting seeds sown, potted on, planted out etc, so my plants are a bit behind, it's really noticeable on the allotment that many other peoples plots are now full of much bigger, more advanced plants than mine.

I was wondering if there are any organisations that send out a weekly email of things you need to be doing in the garden, along the lines of gardening columns in Sunday papers? Don't mind if it's a commercial organisation, RHS or similar, charity, FB group, whatever really, a weekly to do list would be very useful for me.

I subscribe to gardenate, an Aussie site; not very helpful, I know but I find these reminders invaluable for the veggie bed as I still don't have a full grasp of when to start things in Melbourne.

gardenplanner.suttons.co.uk is a UK site. It's commercially linked, which might be a bind.

Thank you, my googling so far has revealed a lot of online calendars and planners but nothing where you subscribe to reminders IYSWIM. I will have a good look at all these.
