I really can't make it out, but given the situation it is growing in it may prob. be some kind of willowherb

I've bit seen any flowers on it. We have some of it and two doors down, the driveway is covered with it.

No flowers though, not even in the neighbouring driveway where it's even more abundant.

It's difficult to pull up. The stem is very firm.

willowherb; spreads everywhere so get rid of the buggers
