Pale blue fence - what colour trellis?

Victorian property and the garden starts with a narrow path from the back door. The kitchen window looks onto a fence, which we have painted pale blue.

I want to train honeysuckle along the fence, as well as a bright pink rose (Gertrude Jekyll) but I don't know what colour trellis to have. Obviously I'd like something pretty to look out onto, but I don't know whether something dark would make it look smaller, or if (for example) white plastic would look cheap and tacky.

Fwiw I've taken up alternate slabs at the very edges and have planted lavender, rosemary and pinks - just to give you an idea of the "style" of garden.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I would have thought that a painted timber trellis would maintain the theme best. Why not paint it the same colour as the fence?
or if you want a contrast, perhaps a cream colour would work?

or you could put in vine wires instead of a trellis.

BTW I read that Gertrude Jekyll can be very mean with flowers. The David Austin website suggests that it is a rose which flowers well, but if you do a more general google search, people on forums often say they are not happy. However I don't have any personal experience of growing this rose.
