Am now the proud owner of a lush green lawn in my tiny back garden. It needs cutting and so am looking for a lawn mower.
It needs to be small as we don't have much room to store it.

flymo

push lawnmower.

Cheaper (30?). Small. Quiet. Effective cyclinder mower.

No chance of electricution or waking the neighbours.

does a beautiful job for minimal effort and no fuel costs

Yes, push ones cylinder are good; give nice finish if grass not too long, provided it is correctly adjusted.

Electric: 'Flymo' don't 'float' quite as well as adverts suggests! So a wheeled one can be better; must have steel blade - cheapest plastic blades are useless!

Rake up the cuttings, if mower doesn't have a collection box.

ferguson
TBH my mower makes light work of straggly grass etc
I just go over it again to make the roller tidy it up ....
and the collector bag just clips on the back

We've got an electric Bosch mower. Had it years. It's great and collects the grass clippings as you go. I really cba to rake up grass clippings.

Brill push mower. As easy as an electric one IMHO.
