I've just bought a couple of Timperly rhubarb plants and would like to know if they're likely to be munched by slugs. Does anyone know please?

I don't think they do.
Which is a shame - the leaves are poisonous.

Slugs eat everything except weeds....they are b*ards....my poor beetroot and kohl rabi has been murdered by them

No idea if it's slugs but something's leaving great big holes in ours! Doesn't seem to affect the harvest though - it's completely rampant! Grin

Yes they do. I had a gorgeous giant rhubarb and they ate the shit out of it.

So they don't drop dead then?

Bugger.
