How much to pay for mowing lawn?

I've asked my friend's son, who's 16, to mow our lawn. Any advice on how much to pay him per hour or per half hr? I was thinking £5 per half hr? Garden is about 80 ' x 50' and a small front garden. He'll be using our small lawn mower.

My ds does this for our neighbour and charges £5 per cut - takes him about 25 mins to do both the tiny back garden and the larger front.

Trouble is he now wants paying for cutting the grass at home!
