We've moved into a rented house which has an apple tree in the garden. Before we moved the landlord pruned massacred the apple tree. It's also covered in well established ivy some of which we have removed. Now the tree looks like it's suffering, is there anything we can do or any food we can give it to help it?
I think it's suffering from shock at being cut back so ruthlessly.
