Plug plant care

My plug plants don't seem to be growing an some are going a bit yellow. I have planted in compost in small pots and they are outside. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you watered them and are they in pots which are bigger than the plugs they came in? They need room for the roots to grow or they'll just be pot bound and give up the ghost and they need water, even if it has been raining, because small pots will not retain moisture very well.

Did you put them straight into the sun? I find mine do much better if I start them off in a partially shady site and gradually get them used to full sun.

They are in small pots but were originally tiny. Some of them look ok but others aren't really growing. They are in the sun, so I will try moving them
