Chimenea or Firepit recommendations

I have a small garden which loses the sun in the afternoon but would love to spend evenings sitting outside. Any recommendations for a chimenea or firepit? I have a small decked area where I sit so would have to go on there (or a table) and can't have anything that would get too smokey which would annoy the neighbours.
