What climber - evergreen?

Hi,

I have a large area of fence that I would like to train a climber on. Ideally evergreen, so there us something there all year round but that also flowers. The fence us probably 18' wide by 6' tall.

Clematis armandii is evergreen but I am not sure of others. Any recommendations please? Thanks Smile

We have a Jasmine clematis, huge white flowers that smell like Jasmine and ever green. Grows like a weed, literally about 10 ft a year once it gets going, we always have to hack it back. I seem to remember someone referring to it as a Montana if that means anything to you?

We have a clematis Montana and it has gone postal - be warned!

I've just bought an evergreen honeysuckle for the front of my house, it's this one, and this clematis for my back fence. But this is their first year so time will tell how they do!

Thanks for the suggestions! Is Montana evergreen though? Next door has one and it flowers beautifully but I can't recall if it is evergreen. It is growing through a tree, so that might be why!!

Is it south facing? Shaded?

Yes it's ever green.
