Can anyone suggest what to do now? I have a 7' high photinia shrub which was blown over a few months ago. Part of the root ball is still in the ground and part is exposed. It is flowering and producing new leaves, but I don't know whether to 1) cut back all over, push the root ball back into the ground and hope it grows upright from now on; 2) cut back the side that is laying on the grass so it gets its shape back as its growing now or 3) try and put a stake in and stand it up again.

I would cut it back and try and train it back to growing up right again. I have one of these in my garden and they are very Hardy.

Now I have given my opinion I better get started on my garden I'm in the process of thinking of selling my property and I need to smarten it up! Hard work!!!

(I need a hot gardener).

Thank you Satin - if you find a gardener, send him over him when you've finished with him Wink
