Honeysuckle taking over entire yard!

It's doing really well this year, whihc is great, except I now can't get out of the back gate of the yard! When should I cut it back?

No expert,but if it's that hardy,surely a vigorous prune will do it no harm?

It is lovely when you wander oustide on a warm evening and the scent jsut hits you. Not so lovely when it's been raining and you have to crawl through it in order to put the bin bags out!

I will be pruning mine mid Sept.

Forgot to add I do all of them around this time and they all grow back.
