I'd like a small, cheap greenhouse.

Its maybe a bit late for this year but I'm running out of room for all my little vegetable seedlings. I'm thinking of something like this

Well something that size but probably a bit sturdier. Budget up to £50ish.

With these plAstic sheet type ones how warm are they? If I got one could you put stuff like pumpkin seedlings and tomato seedlings out in it this time of year? Would you start them off in something like this or do they need to be inside for a bit?

Thanks. I'm going to start saving and chopping all the coke bottles.

Well, I brought my peppers and toms in last night because of the frost forecast (might be getting too precious here, but hey ho).

Going to feed and water them in a bit, then put them back in the cloche/mini greenhouse with some ventilation.

I'm thinking of buying a tier-ed mini greenhouse next. Got more seeds on the way, so I need more space....

Has your mini greenhouse arrived yet, viva?

I think the plastic bottle cloche is a good idea Smile

Yes it came yesterday. Put it together quite easily. I've got a min max thermometer and last night it stayed above freezing in there even though it was icy on the car.

I forgot to go and open it this morni png and it was 40 degrees c in there! I'm going to have to be careful not to scorch the plants when I get some in. I put my potato plants in there last night so hope they're ok!

Bloody hell that's hot! I think I'll buy one. I'm not sure if the cloches are adequate enough, keep thinking the plants will perish even though they get plenty of moisture from them...panicking I suppose Smile
