I have a (poorly) paved garden with flower bed \ borders around the edge that are choked with weeds, a stray clump of daffodils and some ivy that I don't much like the look of.

How would I be best going about getting rid of the weeds, and planning a pretty but low maintenance look?

I will be looking into getting the paving sorted at some point too, but current funds mean that will be definately "in the future".

TIA Smile

Pull the weeds out regularly (I weed 2-3 times a week) and put a few packets of cheap seeds from somewhere like Lidl down on the bare earth instead. Water daily, you can use an empty plastic bottle but be careful not to wash away seedlings (when DS helps he is given a washing-up bottle to shake over the seedlings).
