I was delighted to be given a "Fortunella Kumquat" tree about 63 cm high for Mother's Day. From DS (25) and his lovely girlfriend (good influence) we hope she's a keeper but that's another story! Impressed that pleasure was derived from visiting a garden centre
To get to the point - it look healthy at the moment, dripping with fruit. DS even demonstrated by picking a couple of the fruits and dividing them, how delicious they are. Question is, above and beyond following the care advice and the research in books and online - does anyone here have any practical experience they wish to impart on caring for these amazing plants? I was sooo touched by the gesture so want to do my best by Kumquat.
