Total garden novice here. Our lawn is a bit patchy. Can someone suggest a quick and easy way to make it a bit greener and more lush for this summer please? TIA

We use a company called Greenthumb. They come out 4 times a year to feed and weed kill our lawn - they tailor the treatments to what your lawn needs. It costs £15 a quarter and that covers our back and front gardens. It has made an enormous difference.

If it's patchy it sounds like it needs over seeded. I'm guessing you don't have a fine grass lawn so you could just buy some general grass seed and spread it over the patches. Whatever brand of seed you buy there will be instructions on the box as to how much you should put down etc. if your grass has moss in it get it scarified first and put a top dressing on it before putting the seed down. The wait on the grass growing.
