If growing in a propagator put a price of paper on the top

When you repot put them in deeply right up to the leaves. The stem will grow more roots. Before that put white paper behind to bounce the light.

Sow them later, they will more than catch up.

Also...only sow one of each plant so that you can give them the space and light they need. To get more plants, use the armpits [leave the bits that you would normally pinch out until they get to two real leaves] and plant them up to those leaves to make new plants. They will flop for a week and then grow new roots and continue to grow and give you new plants.

Windowsill during the day, dining room table during the night. Turn them when they start to bend towards the light.

Lots of light and no need to sow so early next year. Within a few weeks of planting out everything's at much the same stage anyway.
