I need some advice, our neighbours want to replace the picket fence we have put up ( which I like) with a 4 ft fence with a trellis on top.
I have a west facing garden I think, and have lots of flowers growing along the fence (picket) would a taller fence mean these flowers wont grow or will struggle, I have dhalias, roses, lavender, and so on...or maybe a fence is good and will create a heat trap for them?
