WWYD about this greenhouse?

I have just moved into a new house that has come with a largish aluminium greenhouse (2mx2.5m). Up until this point I've not had much of a garden and although, I'm excited, I'm not feeling super confident and I can't decide whether to keep the greenhouse or not. So I'll run through the pros and cons..

Pros.
Free greenhouse!
Can be useful for starting veg and storing tools

Cons.
Has to be moved
Glass glazing + small children = DANGER
Would take up approximately a quarter of the area I have earmarked for fruit and veg.

So, voices of experience, what would you do? Keep it or get rid?

Thanks

Why does it have to be moved?
Who manufactured it? Some greenhouses are stronger than others.

Tomatoes, cucumbers, melons in summer.

Keep it! Fix rigid wire mesh to the lower panels or replace with acrylic glazing if you're that worried. Not just for starting plants, a quarter of your fruit and veg could be grown in the greenhouse. On a wet/cold day just a little sun will make it a great place to lurk, even (especially!) with children.

Keep it! You can make it safe very easily.
You will grow much more successfully with it than without.
I would live in mine if I could! Ive got lots of plants stored in it for overwintering plus I grow hardy exotics which need a bit more protection so I'm about to bubble wrap the interior to make it a bit toastier for them.
If you want to garden you'll regret getting rid of it.

Ha ha OP I don't think you'll find anyone on this thread going for the 'get rid' option Smile

Tomatoes and pepper in the summer, overwinter your geraniums in the winter.
That's the very least you'll find to do with it. Thanks

Another vote for keep it! You'll be able to grow a much tastier variety of veg with a greenhouse, so it's not wasted space at all.

Why do you think you have to move it? The previous owners probably put it where they did for a reason (am thinking if where the sun falls).
