I've got a couple of borders and no idea what to do with them for autumn.

We're trying to sell the house atm so I don't want to do any long-term stuff, just lots of colour if possible to make the garden look appealing. I've only just started gardening and I haven't really done autumn yet (we just let the weeds grow last year ).

One border is in full sun, the other is is partial sun and gets more shady later in the year.

Whaddaya reckon?

Rudbeckia Goldsturm. Really easy plant, tolerates shade or sun, and gives lovely colour in the autumn. They are tall daisy-like yellow flowers.

Asters (Michaelmas Daisies) flower in the autumn. Very pretty. Or you could put in some winter flowering pansies.
