As the title suggests I'm rubbish at growing things but that's not going to stop me.

I would really love to grow my own carrots. I plan to make raised beds over the winter so will start in a container first before moving on to the beds. Would so appreciate your tips!

I kill all houseplants - but have succesfully grown lots and lots of carrots! They look after themselves pretty well, I grew mine in a nice little veg bed and filled it with compost - you can even grow them in pots.

They taste a thousand times better than shop ones, much more flavour.

Just make sure you put netting down to protect your carrots from pests, i just chucked loads and loads of seed in and crossed my fingers.
