Gardeners hourly rate

I am starting up my gardening business again and would be interested to know what the average hourly rate is in south manchester ?

We're in Bramhall and pay £11/hr.

Thanks resipsa is this for a mow blow and hoe or more skilled gardening ? I am fully qualified in horticulture and am finding people are asking for someone who can prune correctly, sort out and re-plant herbaceous borders, advise on improving gardens, more gardening than labourer/maintenance.

Ours is more of the first type; no real skill/expertise I'd say. Hope he doesn't read MN!

My dh gardens in North Yorkshire and charges £18 an hour - he's really knowledgeable about gardening though - not just a lawn cutter.
