Anyone got a wormery?

Just that, really. Thinking of buying one but they seem expensive.

Is the liquid feed good?

I have chickens and compost their bedding and also household organic waste and garden trimmings. I was thinking of 'feeding' part-rotted chicken compost to the worms rather than giving it to them raw.

Any experience?

I used to have one - it was great (and I bought it via the council for £10) but now I have a garden with a compost bin there's no need really.

Mine was wooden so didn't get as moist so no liquid feed, but the compost was amazing. It takes a while for waste to get broken down so garden trimmings might be rather optimistic.
