What would you expect to pay?

I have 3 trees in my front garden - one holly and two lilacs and they are about 1.5m tall. I need them pruned and my DH says a normal gardener can't do that? Do I rang a tree surgeon and have been quoted £250! Is that a good price?

I think you need to get in touch with some normal gardeners. There's no reason at all why a gardener couldn't do it, they're not even as tall as a man!
