Natural stones patio half done - skies open!

Hi

Our gardeners just laid half the slabs and then it just poured with rain! And still is!

Will it affect the end result? I asked them and they said it is not a problem. However I have seen comments on google which say it should be covered. Others say that if it was dry for few hours is ok.

What do you think?

It depends on how he laid them I suppose.

I lay mine with mortar or on a bed of sand. Not usually a problem if it rains.
