Should I water my lawn?

I know it's a silly question, but I don't really know anything about lawns! It looks parched. Can I just use my hose on the sprinkly setting?

it is indeed. The heatwave is ending big time in the next day or so and your problem will be solved.

For ref. in future heatwaves (and hopefully more dry sunny weather this summer??!) if you leave it on the long side it always seems to cope better I find. (Obv you need to realise the heatwave is coming in advance!)
