spuds and slugs

I have 3 grow bags with spuds in them. Over night the foliage on one bag has been well and truely muched. should I lift the spuds now before they get munched too? what can I do to protect my other two bags

I have used Nematodes really successfully in the garden this year - maybe they would work for gro bags too?
