Miracle Gro or not to Grow? What do you think?

I know it's known as crack for plants, but really what is so bad about it?

Snobbishness mostly. Considered to be a bit like raising your kids on McD rather than Proper Healthy Food. Also doesn't support the wildlife/infrastructure of the garden, just perks up the plants. I use it in pots where you really can't expect to keep a plant all lush on a bit of manufactured compost.
