Hello all,
I bought a lovely phalaenopsis orchid several months ago and have so far managed to keep it alive!
However, I bought some orchid specific plant food last week. The type that is supposed to 'drop' a bit of feed in every so often. So far so go. Except I watered the plant yesterday and found that half a pippet's (sp) worth of feed has gone! 
My poor plant is now dropping petals fast! Is that the end of my lovely orchid? If anyone can help me rescue my plant I will be very grateful. It was the only plant I had ever managed to keep alive for longer than a week!

ps. the mini stems that attach the flowers to the main body have turned white. I don't know if that's significant?
