Oi! Caterpillars! Noooooo!

Just come back from a few days away and my previously lovely looking strawberry plants have been devoured (flowers and all) by little green caterpillars which are crawling all over them.

What do I do?! How do I get rid of them and are my plants ruined forever?!

Is there anything left of the plants? Strawberry plants are quite robust so as long as there is something there, the plants may recover.

Pick the caterpillars off and dispose of them - on the bird table or anywhere else.

There are some bits of plant left, they just look wilted and sad!

Shall pick them off tomorrow and get rid- is there any way of deterring them in future?
