Lawn edgers-opinions please.

I'm looking to buy one of those flat - edged lawn trimmers that looks a little like a spade.
Are they worth it? Do they do a good job? Is there one that could be recommended?

Do you mean a half moon? Mine is an essential part of my gardening kit. I couldn't edge without it.

I like mine too. If the lawn is tough then you can stand on it and rock it side to side to cut through, then remove the earth with a spade.
