I want it!
Tall 2-3ft, large purple hairy head (oo-er), might have a black bit in the middle.

Seems to come back year after year in neighbours garden. Don't know them so can't go ask them.

perennial cornflower- type of centaurea perhaps. They grow like mad and are quite invasive- seed everywhere so dig up small seedlings if you don't want them all over the garden.

If you can, try to get a clump from someone because they do grow easily- if you were near me I'd split a large clump for you as I have too many!

Bought one from garden centre today, £5, so will wait for it to spread
