Sidegate for alley?

I would like to make my garden more secure with a full sidegate, and I have no idea how to go about it, or how much it would cost. There is a picture of the alley in my photos.

I think a gate would have to be braced against the brick wall and set into concrete, it would be way too complex to attempt myself. I wouldn't mind if it was metal or wood, just high and secure, because I would like to have a dog in future!

Do you have any odd job men around your area who could sort it for you?

We had one done by fencing people a couple of years ago for £250.

6' tall solid wood, with a key operated lock so you can lock it from either side. Joined onto a brick wall by means of a timber batten and closing against another one.

I use an external grade keypad operated lock for the garden gate. I think it's a Yale lock. It is convenient not having a key as I can give te code to workmen etc and I don't always need to have a key with me if I am gardening.
