I'm a member of the Hampstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Society and we've organised a guided walking tour of the area (which is fairly historic and cutsey) and a vist to four open gardens, one of which is ours .

If anyone is interested, tickets are £6 (50% of proceeds to the North London Hospice), and the tour leaves the Residents Association gallery (a tiny shop thingy) on Hampstead Way, London NW11 (junction with Finchley Road) at 2:30. Should be finished around 5. There'll be tea and cakes available at the last garden.

All MNers / their friends / families etc. welcome !

Would love to come and have a nose round your garden.

hub2dee · 22/05/2006 14:38

You're welcome anytime ! It's only small, but I've packed in a fair amount of interesting bits and pieces and it's still not finished.... more a kind of work in progress....

Oooh..... so does that mean when I come round this week I'll get an early preview?

I love a good bloom! Grin Will yours be the house with tea and cakes?

motherinferior · 22/05/2006 16:45

And will you be resplendently adorning the foliage?

hub2dee · 22/05/2006 17:00

"When," Mars ? You mean "if," surely.... LOL.

I am out at Chelsea tomorrow. If you come you will have to help locate slugs / pick up leaves / tickle tadpoles etc. etc. Grin

We are both on Weight Watchers. Your cake selection will be celery-based. And we are not the house with the cakes ! Grin

mi: The foliage will be resplendently adorning me.... LOL
