Anyone used Nemaslug?

Just wondering if anyone has used this slug killer and if it works? Am looking for a way to keep slugs at bay from my raised veggie beds that is safe for veggies and kids and won't kill birds!
Thank you!

I've used it in the past pretty successfully. Also beer in slug traps.

Yes, used it for the first time about a month ago - no slug damage so far.

My neighbour on the allotment uses it every couple of months to great success.

I've used it and it's brilliant. I used it for a couple of months each Spring over about three years. Since then I haven't seen a slug (and I've seen empty snail shells) and small seedlings don't get decimated like they used to.

Thank you, I think I will give it a go!

We've used it every year for years on our allotment. Recommend it.

It's effective but somewhat expensive. And only lasts about six weeks or so. Or at least that has been my experience. I rely on frogs these days. Seems to work. Grin

That's a high price for that! It's cheaper elsewhere.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 18/05/2013 18:28

Yes, for the first time. It's not perfect. One out of my three lupins has been chomped rather, but its better than my past record of them vanishing over night.
