Are there any good garden design websites?

Our garden is a bit boring and I'd like to get some ideas to make it more interesting without it costing thousands. Its a city garden, walled and about 50' long, 30' wide. Can anyone recommend any good websites for ideas? Thanks

I would recommend the BBC how to be a gardner website (Alan Titsmarsh) is a good staring point.

Thank you for your replies, Ladymud Floral & Handy looks the type of thing I'm after - real life gardens for inspiration. Also the bbc site has some great advice. Surrey I hadn't thought of getting a design and doing it in stages - thats a good idea - shame I'm not in Surrey! At the moment its just oblong with borders around all 3 sides and an old crazy paving patio at the hose end. Looking down towards the house its very pretty because we have an iron spiral staircase, patio, and the house is victorian old stone, but looking from the house its boring and I think needs something at the end, probably with height like a pergola, but I don't know whether we'd sit there as its overlooked. This is what I'm looking for inspiration for.
