How to look after turf?

Hi,
we are having some turf layed today. Any tips on how to look after it. How often should it be watered (that will be fun with a hosepipe ban).How long before you can walk on, play, jump etc. ?

bloody hell .. new turf needs to be well watered every day ... twice a day is best .. in non-hosepipe ban you leave the sprinkler on for 30 mins

and you don't walk on it for 6 weeks

Thankfully it is not over a large area. DH will be spending a lot of time outside with a watering can. Hopefully it will rain.
