we are putting in an offer for a house where the owner currently has 2 dogs that they let poo and wee in the back garden - how do I sanitise it for 3 small children immediately when if we move in? can that be done?

I'm not sure that you can sanitise it, as pretty much anything that you put on the lawn to kill germs (Jeyes Fluid, say) is likely to kill the grass.

Experienced dog owners may come along with better advice, but I think your choices are to water the lawn heavily, to 'wash' it, or, if you're really bothered, replace the grass, although that could be costly.

Maybe we have to let it naturally clean itself Smile we have cats so I'n not so bothered that I'd change the grass but I am bothered by having children crawling in a small space that's been primarily a dog toilet, I guess it'll take a little time to wash away and I shouldn't worry...
