My garden is a mess

Was thinking of starting the long process of tidying up my garden today, my grass looks like a mud pit is there anything I can do at the moment to help my poor grass or do I just need to wait for warmer weather?

Best thing would be to wait a little while until the mud dries out and the weather's warmer. Then you can either sow seed to fill in the dead patches or treat the lawn with spring weed and feed. Try to avoid walking on very wet grass, as it will cause more damage.
