indoor yucca tree is too tall!!!

as its grows an everage a foot a year and now its nearly 5 ft tall

what do i do?

you jsut cut the top off and it will grow new heads. we have one on our stairs, but it's only 3 ft atm.

im back.... how do i cut it exactly without me hacking it off too much as ive got 2 roots and both are very tall.. sooooo! can you please help?

Can't it go outside. Ours is thriving in a sheltered spot and I see quite a few in peoples front gardens.

Sorry, will stick to the correct yucca thread Smile

If different heights then lop the tallest stalk - you can always do the other one next year. If both same height then you can do both.

You just literally lop it right off then stick it back in the pot (or a fresh one) and cross your fingers. They usually root pretty well so you end up with a new top on the lopped stalk plus a new stalk.
