crysanthemums....quick b4 i kill em!!

DP bought me some crysanthemums and they are currently in a pot on my window sill. what do i do with them? are they ok to keep inside? do i water from the top or from the bottom (ie water in teh saucer kind of thing)

OR, do i have to put them outside where tehy will, inevitably die because nothing survives in our garden :( no sun, v windy and not looked after

water from bottom, dont let them dry out too much, but dont flood them, when the flowers have finished, plant them in the garden, they're a perrenial so will come up again. it may look like they die totally, give them time... they may flower in he autumn for you.
