No, only things like lack of food or slug damage will make them blind.

really? I thought if you didnt let them 'die' down naturally and let the plant reabsorb the dead flower they would come up blind. Can I cut them then and make my lounge pretty? Can I? Can I?

lol, go ahead. Cut ones that haven't opened yet, at an angle, randomly through the bunch. You should really dig them up and seperate the bulbs once they die, to get the best out of them.

I keep looking at mine, but I don't have enough tos tart cutting them!
