Would this give any shade?

If I get some canvas squares made with eyelets on each corner (about 6-8ft square)

Then I support it on wooden posts along the south side of decking....then I put it up when it's sunny?

Would it provide any shade?

would it be prone to getting blown away?

Carmenere · 18/03/2006 15:24

I would say yes.

Katymac · 18/03/2006 15:28

Yes so I'd only put it up when we were using it....

Carmenere do you mean it would blow away or that it would work?

I think it would work in a sheltered area and I also think it would be useful when you were having parties for smokers banished outside!

Oh..are you thinking of it being horizontal...I thought vertical

Oh you mean abit like a windbreaker?

Katymac · 18/03/2006 15:36

yep...as we are south facing I thought that would make a good amount of shade

Yes, it probably would work in that case.
