Patio potential!

Hi all,
I've just laid a patio I my side return and now I have this nice big space with no plants!! There's a big fat concrete base below the patio so it's containers only...but I'm thinking BIG!!
There's a long north facing fence that gets the morning sun and is very sheltered...I want to fill that with climbers. I also want a couple of nice big architectural beauties, again for pots and containers. Any inspiration?? I've already got my eye on a Madame Alfred carriere rose for part of the fence but nothing else yet. Remember folks, containers only!!
Thanks!!!!

Hydrangeas with hostas look great together in pots, can have honeysuckle, flowering quince as climber and also evergreen clematis.

More for pots - rhododendron, camellias, with colour broken up by ferns, bamboo and laurels

Geraniums, begonias and snowdrops for seasonal colour

To keep them in pots ev 2yrs lift plant and trim new roots

Also it makes such a difference on the right pot I love the fibre glass ones that are a grey stone effect Smile

Thanks for that. So far I just bought a huge 20 foot bamboo and big potato put it in.

I love the idea of quince but how fast dies it grow? We'll only be here for another 18 months / 2 years so I need something that will shoot up fast or I can take with me-does quince do that?
