Fiscus losing leaves...

I've got a fiscus in my darkish hallway and since I bought it 6 months ago (from B&Q) it's lost most of its leaves. I think this must be lack of light? If I move it into the lighter living room what could I get that would enjoy low light in the hall way, and would grow quite tall? A google search recommended a kentia palm, anyone got one? Thank you! (New to house plants)

Swiss cheese plants like low light if you'd go for the retro-ness of one. They'll grow tall up a bit of trellis or one of those moss-filled cylinder things.

Sounds like your fiscus is unhappy, i would recommend keeping the compost damp, but not wet, give it a feed with houseplant liquid food. Move to a light and airy place, avoid putting it near draughts, they hate draughts. never put it close to a radiator, feed x1 a week between march and september, then next march if it has picked up, it may require repotting into a bigger pot using houseplant compost.
