french beans

is it too late to plant french beans? Wasn't thinking of doing from seed but getting some small plants if still available

Yesterday I saw one of the most experienced allotmenteers on my field arriving with some baby french beans to put in. You could try putting in a few plants and also a few seeds.

I think from memory one of my packs of dwarf French beans says to successionally sow up to July. Only thing is if you're anywhere near me your plants might drown !
