our front garden has never been very beautiful but recently we dug out the anaemic looking rose and woody lavender plants and now have a blank canvas ...
we need some building type work done as the front wall and gate need replacing plus although our path is gorgeous original black and white tiles, the rest of the space is covered with manky terracotta tiles and gravel aka cat/fox litter
we have some kind of vent coming up next to one end of the wall which plants don't like being near so everything we've planted there has pegged it (weeds don't seem to mind)
the house is an edwardian semi - the houses are all very pretty but I'm not really inspired by anybody else's garden - lots and lots of hedges ...
so I would be very grateful if you could point me in the direction of inspiring front garden photos to give me some ideas - thanks
