Crocosmia bulbs going free

In my line of work as a gardener, this week I'm digging up a large clump of Crocosmia (Montbretia), the bog standard orange variety.

If anyone would like any of this tenacious, pretty, spreading plant, then let me know and I'll post you a jiffy bag full of bulbs for refund of postage alone.

Otherwise they are going in the green bin.

Disclaimer: They do spread a bit. But if you have an area you'd like to plant up and never think about again, this could be the plant for you.

Interestingly that's three lots of bulbs going up to Scotland now - hope they do ok and I am not blamed for orange explosions all over the place North of the border in the coming years!
