Green bug/ spit on lavender

What can i do- green bug with 'spit' on my lavender-any advice please?

It's called cuckoo spit and it's harmless. meant to protect the bug from getting eaten by birds or bigger bugs. you can water it off, or rub off with your hands/gloves/paper towel.

Sounds like cuckoo spit - made as sort of 'nest' by baby froghoppers. It shouldn't damage your plants, but you can wipe it off or spray it with a hose to get it off if it is bothering you.

I wouldn't bother using an insecticide myself for something that isn't harmful.
