Is anyone going to Gardeners World Live this week/end?

I am, I have tickets to Good Food Live which allow entry into Gardeners World.

I am new to gardening, have just built up some hanging baskets and wall troughs which look pretty good! I have a whole garden to tackle though which is very established and I don't know what it what yet.

I will be setting off at 7am on Sunday morning do hope it will be worth it!

I have been to GW live several times and have loved it every time! We can't make it this year so I am very envious!!
It is very easy to spend a fortune on plants, garden accessories, food and general odds and ends you really didn't know you needed!!
Enjoy!! It is a really enjoyable day out!
P.S. wear comfy shoes and take plenty of money, the Good Food section is very enticing !!

I went, it was brilliant. The show gardens were lovely, got some great ideas - food was good in the 'good food show' bit.

I bought a lovely iron obelisk (a very fancy 4 foot one) for £15.

The roses and peonies in the RHS tent were amazing this year - I didn't buy any, too hard to get back on the shuttle bus.

But I got loads of ideas for bulbs I'm going to buy.

Saw Alan Titschmarsh/Carol/James Martin(Saturday kitchen bloke) and Richard Jackson from QVC.

I thought it'd be all oldies and I'd be the young one at 40 Grin- there were loads of teenagers and early 20's there (and not just dragged along)

I set off at 7.30am and left at 6pm Grin

I had a brilliant day. I was shocked at the amount of young people too! I thought I'd be the young one too -34!

I loved the purple alliums in the RHS marquee, the purple pompoms. I bought three bulbs for £10 which I'm going to try and put in a tub.I got a massive bunch at plant sell off. I also bought lots of food and cakes ! We had tickets to see Live with Lisa Faulkner and Shelina.

I'm sure my legs are still aching today!
